Every editing project is unique—that’s why I offer custom pricing for each project. The exact price of each project varies depending on the word count, the level of complexity of the language, and any modifications to my typical service packages. I’ll make sure you pay only for what you need and want.

To help you get a general idea of my prices and timelines, I’ve included a few examples of common projects and the estimated price (in Canadian dollars) and timelines for each. Please note that these are not set prices, but guidance so you have an idea of what to expect before reaching out to me.

Example 1: Fiction Manuscript

Imagine you have a completed fiction manuscript—hooray! (Or a non-fiction manuscript, although technical subjects will have a higher quoted price than those listed here). Let’s say your draft manuscript is an even 80,000 words, around the length of an average published novel. Now, you are at the stage where you are ready to dig into editing. Perhaps you’ve done some self-editing, or maybe you’ve received some feedback from alpha or beta readers.
